Forever Access Campaign
The Forever Access Capital Campaign was launched at the 2025 Annual Membership Meeting to raise funds to purchase the current boat launch property. Ownership of the boat launch would secure permanent access for members and the community while improving management for fishing, milfoil prevention and more.
Current Goal
We aim to raise $500,000 in pledges for the property purchase, legal fees, and upgrades that would be required to continue to successfully manage the launch.

Tasks to Accomplish this Goal

Secure Binding Pledge Agreements
Secure binding pledges for donations that would only be collected if we get an accepted
purchase offer from the current landowners.

Review of Offer
If the landowner intends to accept the PPPA offer, they are first required by a deeded first right of refusal agreement to offer our exact offer to the other party. Only if the other party declines can the landowner formally accept the PPPA offer.

Boat Launch Ownership
The PPPA will own the current boat launch property - work will start to develop a more robust system for obtaining access.

Purchase Agreement
Formalize a purchase agreement with covenants that support permanent access to the pond and long-term conservation goals tying to the PPPA mission.

Receive Accepted Offer
Ideally, we will receive an accepted offer. If and when this happens the binding pledge agreements will then be collected to obtain the funds necessary to purchase the property.

The PPPA association members and community will have continued access to Pleasant Pond for generations to come!
